Mainstream bicycle brands, each has their optimal bottom bracket standard. Pressfit variation proliferated. On C-BEAR bottom bracket chart, pressfit took up 8 columns and it is not even exhaustive, some Cannondale variations are not on the list, see separately C-BEAR Cannondale bottom bracket demystified chart.
Specialized, is among the early “switchers” from pressfit to threaded bottom bracket, namely BSA. Then Cannondale (BSA), Trek (T47), subsequently also take the same route. Even more are taking the same decision.
C-Bear proactively had a headstart in offering T47 (internal, external and asymmetrical) even for Campagnolo and DUB (no spacer required on the drive side for maximum stabilty and optimal power transfer).
Threaded bottom brackets from original BSA/ITA , now added T47 (internal, external , asymmetrical) and T45 (Colnago).

Bottom bracket variations:

Threaded :

  • BSA/ITA
  • T45
