Bart Schouten (founder of C-Bear), a passionate cyclist, was looking for quality bearings with

• less friction (speed and performance)
• extended life span (longevity)
• affordable price (pricing)

After he designed and manufactured bottom brackets which met his standard, he decided to share a good thing with fellow cyclists who are looking for the same.

Ceramic Bearing Specialist

We focus on what we know best. All C-Bear products come standard with ceramic bearings, with a simple 2 years warranty against manufacture defects, no if/and/or/but attached.

One Size Does Not Fit All

C-Bear differentiates and offers 2 types of ceramic bearings:

Race

The least rolling resistance, for road/race cycling. C-Bear came in Top 3 in Bottom Bracket Efficiency test by Frictions Fact (later acquired by Ceramic Speed, founder Jason Smith became Ceramic Speed Chief Technology Officer). First place is a bottom bracket with no-seal-bearings, only suitable for indoor racing conditions.

Cyclocross/MTB 

Bottom bracket for riding throug puddles and dirt road conditions. Our special formulated grease and added design features to cater these riding conditions.
